Black PVC Fetish Corset Plus Size - This corset was custom made for me and has been worn a few times. There are a couple of little scratch marks on it, nothing drastic; that's to expected of PVC garments that have been worn. This corset has steel and poly boning for flexibility, it will reduce at least 3", possibly more, depending on how tight you want to lace it. The corset laces up in the front as well as the back for an adjustable fit. The measurements are: 40" bust, 36" waist, and 48" hips. Gold/Red Hand-Made Steampunk-Inspired Waist-Cincher - Brand new, hand-made Victorian-style waist cincher - aka "corselette". This cincher features a gorgeous iridescent golden-red faux (polyester) dupioni. It's a gold-and-red crossweave, which really catches the light! I believe the manufacturer's described the color as "sunset tomato", aptly enough! As it's a dupioni-style fabric, the "slubs" are a deliberate feature, not a defect. The cincher measures 28" at the waist when fully closed - which means it can be worn by someone with a 26" to 30" waist, depending on how much of a gap you like to have showing. The center front panel, at the longest point, is 9" high. These waist cinchers can be laced quite snugly, but should not be used for extreme waist reduction (aka "tight lacing") as it was not designed for such strain. It's a strong garment, but simply not long enough in the body to do the "oh dear, my feet are turning blue" reshaping. Besides, under that sort of strain, the front panel will "bow" outwards, despite the steel running down its middle. Please note: the item does not feature a modesty panel. Also, the mannequin on which I laced the cincher is a much larger size than the cincher itself, so if it looks like the fit is a little funny, that's because it is! I haven't had a 28" waist in years! The polyester-dupioni is fortified with heavy twill for strength and the lining is also the same sturdy twill. Either side of each seam and the center front features real steel boning. You can't see the boning channels as the steel is seated in a fabric casing and sandwiched between the lining and interlining. If you look at the photo on the mannequin, you can just about see the line of the boning in the center-front. Long-lasting two-part grommets for lacing up the back - not those nasty eyelets that chew through the fabric! Hand wash in cold water with Woolite, or other gentle soap, and lay flat to dry. Do not wring or twist. You can iron the inside (cotton) of the garment with a medium-warm iron. I do not recommend ironing the fashion-fabric surface, except with a cool iron and a press cloth, as it's pure polyester and can melt - try steaming it, first, to remove any creases. "Vatican Envy" Brocade Corset by Scarlet Rose - (Australia) This is an original and unique design from Scarlet Rose. This luscious one-off corset has been named "Vatican Envy". The centre front and centre back panels are done in a beautiful gold embroidered black brocade which I had imported from America. The main motif used in the fabric is a rather stylish cross, and then small black satin bows and dangling blood red crystals have been added as highlights. At top centre front is an extra gorgeous clear crystal drop decorative detail. The corset laces at the back with red ribbon. This is a very lovely corset shape, but actual construction is more that of a bustier type so I must stress that this is not a garment meant to be laced tightly. A snug and comfortable fit is the ideal here. The outer parts of the corset that are not brocade are either matte black, slightly stretchy fabric with a cotton-like appearance, or the black satin boning channels -also there are the 1" wide black satin top and bottom frills. The corset is fully lined with a very soft and comfortable stretch black lining. The belle who wears this divine decadence will need these measurements: bust 97cm - 107cm max, waist 76cm - 86cm max, hips 102cm - 112cm max. This corset will not look anywhere near as good if the wearer is smaller or larger than these dimensions. Here are the corset measurements: centre front depth 36 cm, centre back depth 26cm, side depth 27cm. It is boned in 14 places with rigid plastic boning (not the kind that falls apart when worn! This is pretty sturdy stuff). There are 8 silver eyelets on each side to lace down the back, plus concealed hooks and eyes to do up at centre front. Content: cotton, spandex, polyester, metallic gold thread, crystal and glass beads. It is difficult to photograph successfully, but it is wonderfully detailed and beautiful. "Burlesque Cincher" by Scarlet Rose - (Australia) I named this cincher "Burlesque" since I was making many burlesque inspired designs at the time. The black and white striped fabric at the side panels reminds me of Paris. The front panel features a large Guipure lace motive, from which dangles a long pearl and crystal droplet to catch attention when you shimmy! The back panel has a smaller motive and a cute little black satin bow. The front and back panels are made of shiny thick stretch satin, and the side panels are made of heavy narrow black and white striped cottony fabric. There are five boning channels featured in black satin. Closure is at the side front with three rows of hooks and eyes to allow for size adjustment. Narrow frilled lace edges the top and bottom. The dimensions required for successful wearing of this luscious lovely are as follows: waist measurement between 72cm - 78cm, making this approximately a size 14/16 Australian. If your waist is 80cm you could still wear it, but it would be quite a tight fit! Depth of cincher is 26cm.
